Caroline is the daughter of Angela & Clayton Brakeville & sister of Shelby Ann. She is the granddaughter of Bert Harris & the late James Harris and Charlie & Sally Brakeville.
Caroline is a junior at Captain Shreve High School where she is enrolled in the Engineering Magnet Program. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is a Distinguished Scholar. She is a also a member of the Theatre Performance Team and Youth & Government where she recently authored a bill and it was passed at the Annual Y &G 2016 Legislative Meeting in Baton Rouge. She has also enjoyed volunteering at Providence House, through other clubs & church activities.
Caroline is a competitive shooter and competed nationally this past summer. She was a member of the Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports .22 small-bore rifle team. She and her team won 1st place making them the National Champions. Individually, she placed 3rd in the Nation. She shoots CMP (Civil Marksmanship Program), NRA (National Rifle Association), & Silhouettes. This year she will be competing in precision air rifle and precision .22 rifle in her quest to make a collegiate shooting team in a few years. Caroline was also honored to be selected a LA 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador.
Caroline is a 3 year letterman for the Lady Gators soccer team & was named the Best Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman and was selected for the All District Team Honorable Mention her sophomore year. This is also her 3rd year to play for the Lady Gators JV Volleyball team.
Caroline was introduced to Mardi Gras at a very early age by her parents, Krewe of Gemini members since 1992. Her mother was Duchess of Louisiana XIV, her father Duke of Texas XVIII, & her sister was a Princess of Gemini XXVI. She has ridden in the Gemini Parades since the age of 7 and considers it an honor and privilege to serve as a Princess for Gemini XXVIII.
