Hightlighting - Betty King - Float Lieutenant

As the last Gemini float in the Parade, Betty King's float commemorates the sights and sounds of Mardi Gras...Louisiana Style. The Largest One Tandem Float in Louisiana...it's 83 feet long and has two tiers to hold approximately 60 riders, has two bathrooms and a party room. An eight foot high, two sided rotating Gemini Face sits at the front of the float.

We are 55 riders strong.

We proudly wear the court jesters costume - a very traditional and popular symbol of Mardi Gras. It represent the costumes worn by performers who entertained the midieval royal courts of England, France, Germany, etc.

This float has more former royalty aboard than any other float...7 Captains, 4 Kings, 7 Queens, and 18 Dukes & Duchesses. 37 past Royal members.
